CANCELLED: Bi-monthly meeting: Adult Self-Defense Workshop

We Parents of Multiples are a diverse group from many different backgrounds, but something we have in common is our strong instinct for protecting our families. Inner Strength Martial Arts will be presenting a self-defense workshop during our November meeting (We’re taking December off from a meeting). Master Alex Changho and Master Cat Zohar are currently providing martial arts classes for children and families in Pittsboro, Chapel Hill, and Carrboro. However, during this workshop for our club, they will focus on equipping us parents with take-home strategies and techniques to avoid and escape unsafe situations.

Here is a little bit of information about our instructors. Later this week, we’ll find out which instructor will be providing our workshop. We’d love to have a great turnout for this meeting!
Master Alex Changho started training when he was in the 5th grade. He started his leadership training when he was 11 and earned his black belt before he was a teenager. In over 20 years of training students in the Triangle area, he has developed leaders in and out of the academy through martial arts. Master Changho is a 6th Degree Black Belt.
Master Cat Zohar began her martial arts training when she was 6 years old. She trained in the Olympic program for taekwondo and was a National Level Competitor. She has had programs in Pennsylvania and Florida before coming to North Carolina. She has worked with dozens of instructors and hundreds of students. Master Zohar is a 5th Degree Black Belt.
